Hardware and Software

Pen Computers
Geocomm Mapping uses "ruggedized" pen computers made by Walkabout for all mapping. Lode Data Field Mapper software is employed for highly accurate and consistent results.

GPS Receivers
We use Trimble GPS Pathfinder Systems; a family of high performance data collection and maintenance products. The series contains a variety of software, data collector, and GPS receiver options.

Design
Lode Data Design Assistant is used exclusively for all CATV design. This tool has been specifically engineered to quickly and easily layout, design, and optimize any broadband network. The Design Assistant includes a full suite of reporting tools and a direct connection to the Drafting Assistant for automated error free drafting in AutoCAD.

Drafting
Geocomm Mapping drafting specialists have extensive experience in AutoDesk and MicroStation products. Lode Data Drafting Assistant is used to post designs to CAD for an error free final product.

Database
We have extensive experience in ODBC compliant database applications including Oracle and Microsoft Access.

Geographic Information Technology
Geocomm Mapping can build a custom solution for your operation based on AutoDesk or ESRI products. Should you decide to delay implementation of a GIS platform, rest assured that all of our products are GIS compliant and ready for easy conversion should you decide to utilize this technology in the future.

Web-Based Applications
Our web-based system tracks the status and projected shipping dates for all projects to keep our clients better informed. A significant portion of our research and development budget is devoted to developing more efficient web-base applications to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Available Now
Free of charge, on-line data warehousing provides off-site storage with access and retrieval of maps and other technical data. Immediate access to maps as the work is completed allows progress review on demand.
